The main purpose of a Category Manager is to look at current trends for your company’s products through financial information and consumer feedback. Using this information a Category Manager can use this information to improve products for better business growth. In this paper we will look at Alikay Naturals product Moisturizing Black Soap Shampoo. First, we will look at the products life cycle. Then we will look at product changes and new product development. Next, we will identify current production methods and potential future product methods. Lastly, we will address a real-world application to help summarize products life cycle.
